SEAI offers grants toward attic, cavity and external wall insulation. We survey your home, specify the right solution and deliver the works to grant standard. You submit the application; we provide the quotes, specs, photos and post-works BER so your claim is straightforward.

What’s typically funded

  • Attic insulation — quilt or board on the attic floor to current depth.
  • Cavity wall insulation — bonded bead fill between inner & outer blockwork.
  • External wall insulation — insulated render system to wrap the house.

Grant amounts are set by SEAI and may change. We’ll point you to the current rates before you apply.

    Top up to the correct depth, tidy tank/pipe lagging and ventilation at eaves as needed.

  • Cavity wall insulation

    Approved bonded bead system, drilled & filled to spec with full coverage and sign-off.

  • External wall insulation

    Insulated render system with detailing at sills, reveals and services for a neat finish.

No — you apply directly to SEAI. We focus on the work and provide all the paperwork you need.

Can I combine attic and cavity?

Yes. Many homes do both. You apply for both measures together and we deliver them in one visit where practical.

Are grant amounts fixed?

Yes, SEAI uses fixed caps by dwelling type. They can change — we’ll point you to the current rates before you apply.

Any rules I should know?

Apply before work starts, use SEAI-registered contractors, and avoid double-funding the same work. A post-works BER is required.
