Why should I service my boiler annually?

Regular servicing keeps your boiler running efficiently, reduces fuel usage, and prevents dangerous carbon monoxide build-up. It also extends the lifespan of your boiler and reduces the risk of breakdowns in winter.

How often should my boiler be serviced?

We recommend servicing your boiler once per year. This is also required to maintain most manufacturer warranties and is best done before the heating season starts.

What’s included in a boiler service?

We carry out a full safety check, clean internal components, test combustion levels, inspect flue and ventilation, and assess burner performance. We also check for oil or gas leaks and issue a service report on completion.

Do you service both oil and gas boilers?

Yes — we have qualified technicians for both gas and oil boiler servicing. You can book either through our online form or by phone.

How long does a service take?

Most boiler services take 45–60 minutes. If your boiler hasn’t been serviced in years, or has issues, it may take slightly longer.

Do I need to be home during the service?

Yes — someone must be present to give access and sign off the service. We'll confirm a time slot and arrive on schedule.

What areas do you cover?

How much does a boiler service cost?

Prices depend on the boiler type (gas or oil) and location. You can request a quote directly on our website or call us for pricing. We also offer annual servicing packages.

Can boiler servicing reduce my heating bills?

Yes — a poorly maintained boiler can waste fuel. A clean, tuned boiler can reduce heating costs by up to 10% or more, especially for older systems.

Do you offer boiler repair if something's wrong?

Can I get a grant for boiler servicing?

Not directly — but upgrading to heating controls or replacing an old boiler with a heat pump may qualify for SEAI grants. We’ll advise if that’s the case during your service or survey.

What are the signs my boiler needs servicing?

Warning signs include strange noises, pilot light issues, pressure drops, increased fuel use or any signs of leaking. If in doubt — book a service right away.
