Clean electricity from your roof

Survey, design, install

We design Solar PV systems around your roof, budget and energy use. After a quick survey we’ll model yield, place panels where they perform best, and specify inverters and protection that meet Irish standards.

Every install includes tidy routing, clear labelling and a full handover pack. We also advise on SEAI grants and export payments from your electricity supplier.

How Solar PV works

  1. Sunlight hits the panels and produces DC power.
  2. An inverter converts DC to AC for your home.
  3. Your appliances use the solar electricity first; the grid tops up when needed.
  4. Excess can charge a battery or export to your supplier.

Good design is about angles, shading and cable runs. We size the system so it performs steadily all year.

  • Performance-led design

Roof survey, shading check and realistic yield so you know what to expect before we install.

  • Quality hardware & tidy cabling

Tier-one panels, robust mounting, surge and isolators — installed cleanly to Irish standards.

  • Grants & documentation

Guidance on SEAI grants and all commissioning paperwork provided at handover.

System options

  • Pitched roof, flat roof or ground mount
  • String inverter or micro-inverters (we’ll advise)
  • Residential (2–6 kWp typical) or commercial arrays

We’ll propose a layout that balances payback, roof space and aesthetics.

Battery & smart controls

  • Battery storage to use more of your own solar
  • Hot water diversion to your cylinder
  • App monitoring and performance alerts

What customers say

“The team modelled the roof layout, explained the options and the install was spotless. Monitoring is brilliant and export is set up.”

— Aisling C., Portlaoise, Co. Laois

“Panels were fitted in one day with neat cabling and a clear handover. We’re seeing solid daytime savings.”

— Eoghan P., Swords, Co. Dublin

Nationwide coverage & assessments

We survey in every county and schedule visits around your home or business. A standard assessment takes 45–90 minutes and includes roof checks, electrics review and a clear proposal afterwards.

  • Domestic and commercial systems
  • Transparent pricing and timeline
  • All commissioning documentation provided

What we’ll ask when you book

  • Roof type and orientation (photos help)
  • Recent electricity bill or annual usage
  • Preferred inverter/battery preferences (if any)
  • Eircode and access times

Have these handy and we’ll prepare the right proposal first time.

What we’ll ask when you book

  • Property type, approximate floor area and Eircode
  • Current heating & hot water setup (boiler/cylinder, radiators or UFH)
  • Insulation levels if known (attic, walls, windows)
  • Possible locations for the outdoor unit and cylinder
  • Preferred access times for the survey

Have these details ready and we’ll allocate the right survey slot and prepare an accurate proposal.

Quick answers

Does Solar PV work on cloudy days?

Yes. Output is lower than bright sunshine but panels still generate; good design focuses on steady year-round yield.

Do I need a south-facing roof?

South is ideal, but east/west roofs perform well too. We’ll model your exact roof during the survey.

Do I need planning permission?

Most typical domestic rooftop systems are exempt; we’ll confirm during the survey and advise on any exceptions.

Do I need a battery?

No. A battery helps use more of your own solar and provides limited backup depending on the system, but it’s optional.
